First Peek

This piece is in the very back of the kiln.
I shoved a few pine sticks next to it
through the passive dampers in the chimney,
likely enhancing the flashing on the white slip.

This little vase thrown with fresh clay from our property
was pulled out of the kiln at around cone 10.
